Kitty O'Shea has a pub quiz on Wednesday nights.  It starts at around 9 and is 5 or 6 iterations of passing a sheet to your table or 'team' with some random trivia questions on it that run the gammit from everything to nothing.  The team with the most correct answers wins a 50 dollar gift card to none other than Kitty O'Sheas. 

The nice weather today reminded me of the annual bar tour that is usually taking place around this time each year in DC.  I took a look at the Lindy Promotions website and what do you know?  There is a linkless link for a Cap-City Spring Bar Tour on April 26th!  Link to the non-link.  I'll keep me ear to the ground and update with any real details that come of this since this is all the info I can find on it so far.  Let me know if you have the skinny on the details.

UPDATE: 3-26-08 FIXED

The Bar Map is having "issues."

By issues I mean that it's not working. The normal behavior of the map is that when a bar marker is clicked it will show the bar information. However now, whenever a marker is clicked, the map re-centers on the Middle East.

It's a sad fact that the greatest holiday, St. Patrick's Day is not an official US holiday!

Porfolio.com recently did an article about this guy who is the CBO, Chief Beer Officer, now I would take that job in a second even for just the title.

The job was some sort of publicity stunt that resulted in this dude getting a real job. It just goes to show that there is a job out there for everyone.

We have been having problems with the mobile version of the website: http://thehhh.mobi

For some reason the mobile version has been loading instead of the regular version in some places. We think it's a caching issue, we hope to have it resolved soon.

We've been working behind the scenes quite a bit here... Well not that much really. But we have been working nonetheless!

If you're frying a bunch of turkeys like my family does, just make sure you're not too boozed up when operating the fryer. It would be a shame for you to burn down your house, b/c then your computer would burn up too and you wouldn't be able to come back and visit The Happy Hour Hero. That would be a shame.
