Just wanted to say that I've neglected the site for a while, and many long standing issues and features are going to be coming.

I'm currently in the middle of deciding on staying with Drupal 5 or moving to Drupal 6.

I'll keep you posted...

UPDATE: 3-26-08 FIXED

The Bar Map is having "issues."

By issues I mean that it's not working. The normal behavior of the map is that when a bar marker is clicked it will show the bar information. However now, whenever a marker is clicked, the map re-centers on the Middle East.

It's a sad fact that the greatest holiday, St. Patrick's Day is not an official US holiday!

We have been having problems with the mobile version of the website: http://thehhh.mobi

For some reason the mobile version has been loading instead of the regular version in some places. We think it's a caching issue, we hope to have it resolved soon.

We've been working behind the scenes quite a bit here... Well not that much really. But we have been working nonetheless!

I hope everyone has a fun and safe thanksgiving.

If you're frying a bunch of turkeys like my family does, just make sure you're not too boozed up when operating the fryer. It would be a shame for you to burn down your house, b/c then your computer would burn up too and you wouldn't be able to come back and visit The Happy Hour Hero. That would be a shame.

Happy Turkey Day!

As we have continued to try to keep pushing forward in the features and usability of the website. I am totally excited to announce that we have just rolled out the early functionality of the Happy Hour Maps. For now, the Maps will only consist of a single “master map” consisting of all the bars that we have. Soon the maps will be tailored to specific geographic areas so that you can easily see what bars are there without having to move around and manipulating the map too much.

Work on the The HHH has slowed in the past recent months for no real good reason. However the site has been getting more traffic everyday. It is always exciting seeing how the number of visitors have kept climbing.

Most of the visitors we get to this website are seeking information about a specific bar, once they get that information they get outta dodge.

So I'm just putting it out there for all of you to tell me what you want out of this website? Let us know what sucks and what is awesome.

I'm totally stoked to announce that we have now added the new feature "Sort by Day" so that you can bring up a list of all the happy hours for a particular day of the week. This way you can quickly compare and see all the happy hour information for a particular day!
You can also filter the table by selecting one or more tags. This way you can sort by the location as well as other attributes of the bar!
