User Guide

We have worked very hard to create this website; we have also strived to make the website as user friendly as possible. This guide should help you get started.

Please consider this a guide a  "living  document," it will grow and evolve as we add more information to it.

If you can't find the answers to your questions here, you should take a look at the forums and the FAQ. If you still can't find the answer, please contact us, or post an entry in the forum.


 

Getting Started: Registering

Profile Setup

First you need to get to your profile; this is assuming you have registered and you are logged in.

Click on “MY ACCOUNT” at the top of the webpage. This will bring you to your account page.

Click on the “Edit” tab to edit your profile. The first page you come to is your basic settings.

Click on the “Personal Information” tab to edit some more personal and totally optional stuff about where you’re from and stuff.

Later on we will be rolling out more features that will allow for a greater amount of customization.

* If you see the “Adsense” tab, just ignore it.

Adding a bar to your favorites

 

You must first create a profile and be logged in before you can save a bar to your favorites.

  1. Simply make your way to the full bar entry.
  2. Then click the “add to favorites” button at the bottom of the page.

  3. BLAM! You did it.
  4. To remove a bar from your favorites click the “remove from favorites” button that has taken the place of the “add to favorites” button.

Submitting Content

Submitting content is relatively easy. The type of content that you may submit is based on what roles you have been assigned. See Roles

Aside from submitting a comment, all other content submissions require you to be logged in.

Writing a Comment

 

You do not have to be logged in to write a comment.

If you are not logged in, the only two required fields are the Comment and the Captcha (the image of the messed up letters and numbers).

If you are logged in; all you have to do is leave your comment.

To add a comment, simply click on Add Comment, or Reply if you wish to reply to someone else’s comment.

Submitting a Bar/Happy Hour

Adding a bar is completely free!

If you're interested in adding a bar to our directory.

  1. If you don't already have an account, create one for free.
    Now you don't need to create an account to submit a bar!
  2. On the left menu click on Add a Bar.
  3. Fill out the form, all that is required to submit a bar is basic bar information, you can fill out the happy hour specials later.

  4. Click Submit.

Apply to be a Moderator

We do not yet have a form for requesting to become a Moderator.

Please use the contact form to send an email to request Moderator status.

Please include the following information:

  1. Full Name
  2. Current User Name
  3. Age
  4. Area where you live
  5. Job Title ( what you do for a living)
  6. Briefly state why you want to be a Moderator
